This Blue is to be found commonly in Western USA, from coast to mountain meadows. These examples were seen in CO. It is quite large for a Blue and is typically quite variable in coloration.
The spots on the hind under-wing vary from white to black with white edges. Females are typically brown above and the Males a dark Blue.
