A central to eastern butterfly that is not seen in the southern Gulf states. It is not overall common but seen commonly is specific locations. They perch on trees and fly fast fleeing from observers easily and quickly. They will be found around wet areas of mud and even seen on sap and dead animals and insects. 1 brood in the north and 2 in the south.
