Pepper and Salt Skipper

Very boldly checkered fringes to this skippers wings.  This is a lighter color than most being lighter Brown on the upper surfaces and more grayish below.  It is not a usual Florida skipper, but it has been found in the Pan Handle of the Gulf, see images below. It can be found in a long swathe from northeastern TX to southern Maine.
