An eastern butterfly found in half of the US and especially in The Big Bend Florida. The species is distributed down to central Florida Peninsula. Found in Oak woodlands. Tends to be a Spring flyer. A darker Duskywing specifically seperated from Zuracco by a single bright white spot on the underside of the hindwing, hard to see at times, being a Spread-wing the Juvenal’s lands with the hindwing hidden most of the time. Has a white/light area near the end of the forewing, typically not as obvious as the Zarucco.
