Overlaps with the Tawny-edged Skipper for range and territory. a central and eastern Skipper. Very difficult to separate from Tawny-edged visually. It is usually larger than a Tawny -edged Skipper. The spot band on the underwing is less pronounced and the Male’s Stigma (the black mark on the upper forewing) is long and unbroken and pointed towards the body. Females are very difficult to seperate from similar Skippers, Tawny, Broken-Dash, and Glassywing. The middle spot is usually larger and squarish.
