The Giant is named for its size. It is a very large Swallowtail and in color impressive and unlikely to be mixed up with others in the Southeast. It is large and black on the upper surface with yellow bands along the edges of the wings and specifically a large yellow band running along the top and across the wings. Underneath it is largely a bright light yellow. Hard to mix up with others.
