The Little Glassywing is a southeastern Skipper, ranging from E Texas to Maine.. It looks a little like a N Broken-Dash initially being a darker orange-brown and with a lighter crescent band on the underside hindwing. It does have however on the upper surface of the forewing a larger spot that under certain circumstances can seem somewhat glassy in appearance, almost like it is transparent, but it is not. Hence the Glassywing name.
