The Little Yellow is a Southeastern butterfly easily found in Florida. It is ‘Small’  it is ‘Yellow’.  Black Marks can be seen at the wing tips as it flies.  When it is landed it usually sits with wings folded and shows a relatively clear yellow look with some spots.  The important features are, 2 small spots on the hind wing very close to the body and a dark ‘Blotch’ at the top of the hind wing, which may be missing due to variations.
