This is one of 3 Scrub-Hairstreaks that live in the USA. All live in Southern Florida with one living in S Texas as well. It can be found in the extreme south of Florida in the Everglades and the Keys.
It has a bright white line across the hind-wing as does the Bartram’s but it has no white spots at the base of the hind-wing as the Bartram’s. It is a lighter gray in over appearance.
