The Pipevine Swallowtail is a southeastern Swallowtail that is named after the food plant the caterpillars use.  It is a one of 3 dark Swallowtails and is usually identified by the electric blue color on the males upper hind wing and the single set of orange spots on the underside of the hind wing.
