Very much limited to coastal regions. It loves marshes close to the Gulf and Atlantic. A light brown skipper with an overlapping forewing like the Ocola but less obvious. The identifier for the Salt Marsh Skipper is the small horizontal bright white bar on the underside of the hindwing.
