The Southern Pearly-eye ranges over the southeastern states. It overlaps a little with the Northern Pearly-eye on its northern borders. It can be found in the southeastern areas down to mid Florida. It is very similar to the Northern Pearly-eye in appearance but has yellow at the base of the antenna clubs, not black.
