A southeastern Skipper that will frequently be found perching on leaves close to paths and streams. Seems quite territorial as will buzz off intruders. Males are largely yellow-ish on their underside whilst the females are darker with more patterning. For males the id is a large yellow area on the hindwing underside close to the body. For females there is a white edge to the top of the hindwing seen on the underside.
